Weights & Measures for during competitions

At all events where a throwing event is taking place the implements must be impounded and delivered to the throwing competition area by a certified official. For the indoor season the implement for the weight throw must be recertified after each attempt. (i.e. athlete throws implement, the shagger returns implement to the weights and measures official whom immediately recertifies the implement and then places it back into the implement corral. Then the athlete is only allowed to pick up the implement in front of the officials and immediately proceed into the ring for the next attempt.)
