Job Description

• Assist the head coach in teaching skills and strategies for cross country & distance-related events in the traditional and non-traditional seasons
• Assist in forming and implementing distance training plans
• Coach cross country & distance-related events individually and in groups
• Planning and directing team practices to encourage and develop student-athlete skills
• Coordinate year-round instruction with athletes in accordance with College, Conference, and NCAA bylaws and regulations
• Create a positive and healthy team culture that encourages learning and development
• Additional support and supervisory duties as assigned by Head Coach including assisting in the Indoor & Outdoor Track and Field Teams as a whole.
• Implementing a comprehensive recruiting plan
• Assist in fundraising and alumni relations where needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned
