Job Description

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into a Graduate Studies program at Campbell University required
• Competitive experience and/or coaching background in track & field (distance or sprints/jumps preferred)
• Passion for the sport of track & field / cross country
• Desire to gain true coaching experience
• Proficient in Word, Excel and social media
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Knowledge and willingness to learn NCAA Rules
• Valid driver’s license

Position Responsibilities:

• Targeting sprints/Hurdles OR Distance event groups
• Assist with planning and conducting daily practices
• Travel with the team to competitions and assist with meet-day coaching duties
• Assist in fundraising and general promotion of cross country/track & field program
• Maintain gear and equipment inventory and assist with ordering equipment and apparel
• Reconcile receipts and track purchases for Xc/Track
• Any other duties assigned by the head or assistant coaches

Compensation:

• 18 Credit hours per year for MBA, MED, Master of Leadership, etc
• Housing/Meal plan or Stipend
