TFA305. Endurance Event Specialist Certification

**HYBRID COURSE**

The Endurance Specialist Certification Course (SCC) is a detailed, 36 hour course that covers all issues in technical coaching of the endurance events. Certification by the USTFCCCA is granted for successfully completing the course and its evaluations. The course contains video content. Topics include training theory, applied sport science, periodization of endurance event training, biomechanics of the endurance events, training components, training design and administration, peripheral training concerns, technical study, and gait study in the middle distance and distance events.

DETAILS

Part 1 (Sport Sciences) will be taught online via Zoom & Part 2 (Event Specific) will be taught in-person at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, TX

1. For the ONLINE Sport Sciences portion, you’re required to attend the entirety of one group of sessions:

Monday, November 23rd & Tuesday, November 24th from 10:00am – 1:00pm (Central)

Wednesday, December 2nd & Thursday, December 3rd from 4:00pm – 7:00pm (Central)

2. For the IN-PERSON Event Specific portion, you’re required to attend all sessions:

Saturday, December 12th from 8am – 10pm (Central)

Sunday, December 13th from 8am – 10pm (Central)

Monday, December 14th from 8am – 2pm (Central)

*Note that recordings of the Sport Sciences will not be available; live participation (working camera & microphone) is required if you wish to take this course.
