Job Description

 

Position: Part-Time Throws Coach | $10,000

Description: Western Oregon University is seeking qualified applications for a part-time throws position beginning in September 2026. The position requires developing and implement training for student-athletes in the follow event groups; Hammer, Weight, Discus, Shot Put and Javelin. Collaborating with the Head Coach and staff to guide and mentor student-athletes at a GNAC DII affiliate program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Experience developing and implementing programs for throws event groups.
  • Must be available and flexible for weekends and travel.
  • Preferred knowledge of NCAA rules pertaining to recruitment, eligibility, etc.
  • Assist in other administrative duties and other duties as assigned.
