Marymount University Track & Field (Arlington, VA) is seeking a motivated Volunteer Throws Coach to coach our throwing events. Marymount competes in NCAA Division III within the Atlantic East Conference. Gain hands-on collegiate coaching experience, manage training programming, and build a track record at the NCAA level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and oversee training and technical development for all throws athletes.
• Coach throwers during team practices and scheduled competitions.
• Maintain strict adherence to all NCAA Division III, Atlantic East Conference, and institutional rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge of throwing events (high school or collegiate competing/coaching experience preferred).
• Available from 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM for a minimum of 3 days a week during the season.
• Available to travel to at least 50% of team competitions throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a university driving certification exam.
