Position Summary
Assistant Trach and Field Coach – Sprints and Hurdles
Department of Intercollegiate Athletics
Full Time/Term
Primary Responsibilities
- Coaches, recruits, and provides academic oversight for student-athletes
- Performs administrative duties related to the track & field/cross country programs
- Promotes Southeast Missouri State University and the athletics program through community involvement
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated successful experience coaching or competitive experience with sprints and/or hurdles
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to NCAA regulations
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully with students, faculty, community and media
- Demonstrated ability to motivate student-athletes academically and athletically
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
