Job Description

Kansas Wesleyan University is seeking to fill the position of Track & Field/XC assistant coach/admissions counselor with emphasis in the distance/XC events. Responsibilities include assisting with all aspects of the Kansas Wesleyan Track and Field program under the direction of the Director of Track & Field and Director of Admissions. Specific duties will include; recruiting, directing practices, fundraising, home meet preparation, travel, mentoring student-athletes, and overseeing weekly study halls. Additional duties as assigned.

As an Admissions Counselor, the individual acts as a primary point of contact for
prospective students, families, and high school partners—guiding students through the
enrollment process from initial inquiry to matriculation.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and excel at working independently while also communicating well with others.
