Job Description

The Part-Time Throws Coach is responsible for coaching and developing student-athletes in the shot put, discus, hammer, and javelin events. Responsibilities include designing and implementing event-specific training programs, teaching proper technique and fundamentals, monitoring athlete development and performance, and preparing student-athletes for indoor and outdoor competition.

The coach will conduct regular practices, assist with recruiting and athlete development, communicate with the Head Coach regarding training and performance, and support the overall goals of the track & field program. The position also requires attendance and coaching at in-season indoor and outdoor competitions, including select travel meets as assigned.
