Job Description
Indiana Tech is seeking a throws coach beginning with the 2026-27 season. This position can be either a graduate assistant position that comes with a full tuition waiver and part time hourly pay or a part time hourly position.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The coach will coordinate all activities related to running the throwing events including: •Assist with planning and conducting daily practices •Travel with the team to competitions and assist with meet-day coaching duties •Assist in fundraising and general promotion /track & field program •Maintain gear and equipment inventory and assist with ordering equipment and apparel •Any other duties assigned by the head or assistant coaches •Recruiting throwing events. Will work closely with the coaching staff and especially the multis student athletes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience coaching/competing in throwing events
- If applying for the G.A. position must receive admission to Indiana Tech graduate program.
