Job Description
Function of Position:
The Assistant Coach will assist the Director of Men’s and Women’s Track and Field in
all phases of a Division III program. This includes, but is not limited to recruitment and
retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, overall program
administrative duties as assigned, and practice/meet coaching specifically for the horizontal and vertical jumps. This position will also coordinate all home track meets and perform other duties in the Athletic Department as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Prior coaching or competitive experience in Collegiate Track & Field
- Credentials should reflect proven success and potential in coaching, recruiting, and
in working with student-athletes - Must be highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic and is excited about being a great recruiter
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate high ethical standards and professional demeanor in all aspects of
career
