Wofford College is seeking and accepting applications for an assistant cross country/track and field coach.
Duties include but are not limited to: organizing and conducting practice sessions; recruiting student-athletes; attending professional meetings, clinics, workshops, etc.; furnishing NCAA information regarding team roster, eligibility, coaching staff limitations, etc. to the Assistant Athletic Director; maintaining a thorough knowledge of NCAA, Southern Conference, and institutional rules and complies accordingly; responsible for other details or any other assignment by the head coach or Athletic Director.
A bachelor’s degree and prior experience of coaching in high school or college/university athletic department is required, a knowledge of heptathlon/decathlon and field events is preferred. Collegiate track and field participation is preferred. Evening and weekend hours are required.

COMPENSATION: The position is full-time, including benefits. Start date for the twelve-month position will be January 2, 2022.
