Job Description

The Assistant Cross Country Coach is responsible for assisting in the management of all phases of highly competitive NCAA Division III Cross Country programs which includes recruitment of qualified student-athletes; coaching of distance runners during practice and competition for men’s and women’s programs; administration, organization, and evaluation of all aspects of the program; and adherence to all NCAA Division III, conference and institutional policies and procedures. Adherence to COVID-19 safety guidelines as set by federal, state, city, and institutional entities.
**MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR DAILY PRACTICE AND WEEKEND MEETS**

– Bachelor’s Degree required

– Knowledge of NCAA and CUNYAC rules and regulations

– Collegiate Coaching experience preferred

– Knowledge of science-based distance training preferred

– Experience running at the collegiate level preferred

– Possess current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification or ability to immediately obtain
