Job Description

The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Michigan State University is searching for a candidate to fill the Assistant Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Coach position for Jumps.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Design and implement programs and practice regimens for student athletes including strength training.
2. Assist in pre-season and in-season training, practices and meets, as well as other areas that pertain to the track and field program.
3. Identify, evaluate, and recruit quality student-athletes.
4. Assist with home meet management.
5. Assist with monitoring academic progress.
6. Manage equipment needs, including purchasing.
7. Other duties as assigned.
