Assistant Track and Field Coach Position (Full Time w/ Benefits)

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Collegiate track coaching experience, recruiting experience and demonstrated knowledge of the rules and regulations of NCAA track & field.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Multis, Throwing events, Pole Vault and Hurdle experience beneficial. Master’s degree preferred.

Appointment Date: As soon as a viable candidate is identified.

Responsibilities:
Proven personal and professional integrity and excellent coaching, recruiting and teaching skills necessary. Will be responsible for and administer all aspects of the Track and Field/Cross County program as directed by the head coach. The successful candidate is expected to create an atmosphere favorable to moral, athletic and academic development of student-athletes. Previous track and field coaching and/or competitive experience at the collegiate level preferred, along with competent computer skills. Applicants should be familiar with the MIAA/NCAA Division II. Additional duties assigned as needed by the Department of Athletics.
