Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for assisting the Assistant Coach in the successful management and implementation of the Sprints, Hurdles, and Horizontal Jumps event groups within the Track and Field Program. Candidates will be expected to adhere to all rules and regulations at George Mason University, the Atlantic 10 Conference and the NCAA.

This position will assist in multiple areas of the program including but not limited to:

• Recruiting
• Implementing workouts – practice set ups, warms up/cool downs, timing, spreadsheets, etc
• Weight room supervision
• Organizing team activities and community service
• Team travel – must have valid driver license and be able to pass van driver training
• Fundraising

Must be available to travel with the team to competitions on the weekends.
