Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, organization, and ongoing development of athletic programming and activities.
Contribute to building a cohesive, competitive program.
Recruit academically and athletically qualified full-time student-athletes.
Support the academic progress and graduation of student-athletes, including enforcement of study hall and academic support programs.
Assist the athletic department with athletic-related needs as assigned.
Comply with all rules and regulations of the conference and governing bodies.

Expectations

Submit all required assignments by designated deadlines.
Report any known violations or concerns to administration promptly.
Adhere to all Athletic Department policies and procedures.
Represent Keiser University and the Athletic Department as a professional, team player, and role model for student-athletes.
Attend regularly scheduled Athletic Department staff meetings.
Maintain valid CPR certification.
Communicate effectively with coaches and trainers regarding team and game needs.
Hold a valid State of Florida driver’s license and responsibly operate university or rental vehicles for away contests.

Travel Required

Yes. Frequent overnight travel for away competitions and recruiting events.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience (Preferred): 1–3 years of high school or college coaching experience.
