Responsibilities include practice planning for jumps, effectively recruiting and retaining qualified student-athletes, participation in regular staff meetings, assisting staff with meet management, weekend and evening work. Other responsibilities will include assisting with all aspects of coaching, planning, day-to-day practice/facility operations, travel to meets, and other duties as assigned by the full-time staff.
A schedule that permits consistent practice, competition, and staff meeting attendance is required.
Qualified candidates will have coaching experience at either the high school or collegiate level and at least two years of driving experience on a state-issued license. Successful candidates must have experience coaching track & field preferably with a background in jumping events. Strong communication skills are also required. The successful candidate will be subject to a background check as a condition of employment.
