Job Description
The Assistant Track & Field Coach is a full time 9-month position with the option to renew each year. This position is responsible for assisting the head track and field coach in all facets of planning, organizing, and leading a highly competitive NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Track and Field program through the recruitment of quality student-athletes and successful coaching of those individuals. Coaches in all event areas will be considered, but we are ideally looking for someone with expertise in sprints, jumps, or both. Anticipated start date: August 26, 2024.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum / Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years of track & field coaching experience
Highly Desired
- Master’s degree
- Outstanding organizational/operational skills
- Recruiting experience
- Demonstrate familiarity with national trends and best practices related to diversity, inclusivity, and undergraduate retention programs and practices
