Job Description

The Sprints/Jumps Coach is responsible for leading and developing the institution’s student-athletes in the sprinting and jumping events, including but not limited to 60m-400m, hurdles, long jump, triple jump, and high jump. This coach supports the Head Track & Field Coach in all aspects of a competitive Division I program and contributes to a positive, high-performance team culture that aligns with the athletic department’s academic, competitive, and community standards, helping to plan and conduct summer camps, plus other duties as assigned by the head coach. Successful candidate must be committed to the academic success of student-athletes and be committed to their personal growth and social development. Successful candidate must be fully committed to all NCAA, The Ohio Valley Conference, and Western Illinois University Athletics Department policies and procedures.

RANK & SALARY: $34,200 – $38,004 per year, commensurate with experience.
