The University of Connecticut is seeking qualified candidates for a paid full-time internship position with our Women’s Cross Country/Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Program.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: managing the day to day operations for the track and field program such as: creating and distributing travel itineraries; coordinating all aspects of team travel to and from competitions; home meet management for two home outdoor competitions; weekly input of team entries to competitions; assist coaching staff with recruiting on and off campus; and assist in coaching duties as needed from the coaching staff.
Bachelor’s degree; strong organizational skills and multitasking ability; knowledge of NCAA rules; strong interpersonal skills; and looking to advance in the coaching or athletic administration professions.
Playing at the collegiate level; coaching or administrative experience at any level of sport; and ability to assist with any area of track and field events.
This is an immediate opening.
This position is a 12-month appointment with an annual compensation of $26,640. Following administrative review, the position may be renewed for a second term.
