This anticipated assistantship is for the track & field/cross country programs in the department of Athletics and supports the work of the women’s track team and the women’s and men’s cross country teams. The University of Dayton Women’s Track & Field and Cross Country programs are seeking a motivated and passionate Graduate Assistant for Operations who has a strong interest in developing a career in collegiate athletics and coaching. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within an NCAA Division I program while working in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
This role is designed to provide professional growth opportunities for individuals interested in pursuing careers in coaching, athletics administration, and student-athlete development, with an emphasis on supporting and mentoring female student-athletes. The Graduate Assistant will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the program while also gaining valuable exposure to the inner workings of a Division I Track & Field and Cross Country program.
