**HYBRID COURSE**

Part 1 (Sport Sciences) will be taught online via Zoom & Part 2 (Event Specific) will be taught in-person at the Grande Lakes in Orlando, FL

1. For the ONLINE Sport Sciences portion, you’re required to take 1 of 2 available sections:

Monday, November 25th & Tuesday, November 26th from 10:30am – 1:30pm (Central)

OR

Monday, December 2th & Tuesday, December 3th from 6pm – 9pm (Central)

**Note: For students planning dual enrollement in TFA 302 & TFA 310, only one instance of Sports Sciences is required.

2. For the IN-PERSON Event Specific portion, you’re required to attend all sessions:

Saturday, December 14th from 8am – 10pm (Eastern)

Sunday, December 15th from 8am – 10pm (Eastern)

Monday, December 16th from 8am – 12:45pm (Eastern)

*Note that recordings of the Sport Sciences will not be available; live participation (working camera & microphone) is required if you wish to take this course.

The Sprints, Hurdles, and Relays Specialist Certification Course (SCC) is a detailed, 36 hour course that covers all issues in technical coaching of the sprint, hurdle and relay events. Certification by the USTFCCCA is granted for successfully completing the course and its evaluations. The course is illustrated with pertinent, animated take-home video created specifically for this course, to enhance clarity and understanding. Topics include training theory, periodization of sprint-hurdle training, biomechanics of sprinting and hurdling, training components, training design and administration, relay techniques and strategies, peripheral training concerns, technical models, and technical teaching in the sprint, hurdle and relay events.
