**HYBRID COURSE**
Part 1 (Sport Sciences) will be taught online via Zoom & Part 2 (Event Specific) will be taught in-person at the North Central College in Naperville, IL
1. For the ONLINE Sport Sciences portion, select ONE session:
Monday, June 16th & Tuesday, June 17th from 6pm – 9pm (Central)
Thursday, June 19th & Friday, June 20th from 10:30am – 1:30pm (Central)
2. For the IN-PERSON Event Specific portion, you’re required to attend all sessions:
Monday, June 24th from 8am – 9:30pm (Central)
Tuesday, June 25th from 8am – 9:30pm (Central)
Wednesday, June 26th from 8am – 9:30pm (Central)
*Note: recordings of the Sport Sciences will not be available; live participation (working camera & microphone) is required if you wish to take this course. No exceptions.

The Throws Specialist Certification Course (SCC) is a detailed, 36 hour course that covers all issues in technical coaching of the throwing events. Certification by the USTFCCCA is granted for successfully completing the course and its evaluations. The course is illustrated with pertinent, animated take-home video created specifically for this course, to enhance clarity and understanding. Topics include training theory, periodization of throw training, biomechanics of throwing and the throwing events, training components, training design and administration, peripheral training concerns, implements, technical models, and technical teaching in the glide and rotational shot put, discus, javelin, hammer, and weight throws.
*Registration must be done under the participant’s account in order to access the course material and exam.

- NOTE: North Central College does not provide linens. Please plan to bring a set of sheets and towel.
- All meals from dinner on Sunday 6/23 through dinner on Wednesday 6/26
- Dormitory checkin begins at 3:00pm on Sunday 6/23
