This course will take place in two portions —Sport Sciences and Event Specific— BOTH of which are required to successfully complete the course.

1. For the Sport Sciences portion, you’re required to take 1 of 2 available sections:

June 12th & 13th from 5pm-8pm (Central)

June 19th & 20th from 5pm-8pm (Central)

2. For the Event Specific portion, you’re required to attend all sessions:

*Note that recordings of this course will not be available, live participation (working camera & microphone) is required if you wish to take part.

The Endurance Specialist Certification Course (SCC) is a detailed, 36 hour course that covers all issues in technical coaching of the endurance events. Certification by the USTFCCCA is granted for successfully completing the course and its evaluations. The course contains video content. Topics include training theory, applied sport science, periodization of endurance event training, biomechanics of the endurance events, training components, training design and administration, peripheral training concerns, technical study, and gait study in the middle distance and distance events.
