Job Description

The University of North Dakota women’s track & field program, under the guidance of the Head Coach and assistant coaches, is looking for qualified candidate to work as a Graduate Assistant Coach. This position will report directly to the Head Coach. This position is open to those that have meet all UND Graduate School admissions standards and must be enrolled full-time for the entire academic year.

Job Functions for this position would include, but are not limited to, the following:

Job Functions:
• Assist in all aspects of coaching, planning, directing, and developing sport and program specific skills of Student-Athletes in the women’s track & field program under the direction of the Head Coach and Assistant Coaches.
• Assist coaching staff members with all recruiting and administrative
responsi bi I ities.
• Coordinate team travel accommodations as assigned.
• Contact and communication with prospective student-athletes (PSA) as allowed by NCAA rules & guidelines.
• Provide administrative support as directed by women’s track & field staff members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Meet all University of North Dakota Graduate School admission standards.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize good judgement in the interpretation and application of policies.
• Excellent communication & computer skills.
• Successful completion of criminal history background check (CHBC).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience as a collegiate track & field student-athlete preferred.

Pay Rate (Fund 50055)
This is a 10-month position, beginning in August and ending in May. Includes full tuition in a master’s program, room & board, books, and Cost-Of-Attendance.
