The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Coach for Cross Country and Track & Field. The successful candidate will assist the Head Coach for Cross Country and Track & Field with all aspects of a Division II program and the overall development of the student-athletes. Duties include, but are not limited to, the planning and implementation of daily practices, overall program administration, recruitment of student-athletes, community relations, knowledge of and compliance with University, Peach Belt Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Additional duties to include: organization of team meetings, assisting in coordination of competition, travel and equipment and apparel; monitoring of and mentoring of team members. This position must work closely with other departments within the University of North Georgia Athletic Department.
The position will report directly to the Head Coach for Track & Field and Cross Country
Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience as either a coach or student-athlete; knowledge of NCAA policies and procedures; or a combination of education and experience.
