North Greenville University is looking for a graduate assistant to work with the Track and Field/Cross Country program. Ideally this individual would work along side our assistant coach with the sprinters/jumpers/hurdlers/throwers. Additionally this individual would assist with recruiting, travel, study hall, administrative tasks, and other necessary tasks required for the operation of the Track and Field/Cross Country program.
We are looking for someone that will be the right fit within our program. Someone that will work hard, do what is asked of them, and most importantly be a positive influence on the lives of our student-athletes.
Tuition and books are paid for by the University. There are no stipends or free housing offered to graduate assistants. However, this individual would be able to work a part-time job throughout the week while maintaining their responsibilities with the Track and Field/Cross Country program. (There is flexibility to allow for this individual to work and provide for him/her self financially during their time as a graduate assistant.)
A Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience as a collegiate track and field athlete is preferred. This position requires great communication skills; willingness to do many different types of tasks; leadership ability; willingness to work long, early, and late hours; commitment to the mission of the University and to our student-athletes; and adherence to NCAA rules/regulations.
