Job Description

Lincoln Memorial University’s Department of Athletics is currently accepting applications for two (2) Graduate Assistant Coach positions with the Track & Field program for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 academic years. The successful candidates will report to the Head Track & Field/Cross Country Coach and will assist with various coaching (sprints/hurdles and jumps), recruiting, and administrative tasks.

Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into Lincoln Memorial University’s graduate program. The ideal candidate will have competed at the collegiate level, performing with distinction as a member of a competitive track & field program. Experience with sprints/hurdles and jumping events, with a desire to be a coach, is a plus. Additional requirements include strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills; the ability to work well in a team environment; and the capacity to model mature, responsible leadership. The candidate must be willing to work weekends and holidays and travel with the track and cross-country teams to competitions. Must have a valid driver’s license and pass the university driver certification class.
