Southeastern Oklahoma State University is seeking to hire a Graduate Assistant for the Women’s Track and Field and Cross-Country Programs. The position will work Primarily with Sprints/Jumps/Hurdles & Relays and Report Directly to the Head Coach.

50% Coaching 40% = Study Hall 10% Driving

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation and planning of practice sessions.
• Attend and oversee all study hall sessions (6 hours per week).
• Assist with planning, ordering, and organizing logistics for travel.
• Attend all practice sessions and competitions.
• Assist with Recruiting visits.
• Drive a 10 passenger van to meets when needed.
• Assist with fundraising, home meets, community service activities and end of year banquet.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Must be accepted into Southeastern Graduate School
• Previous participation and or coaching experience with adequate knowledge of NCAA policies.
• Valid Driver License
• Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR Certification upon selection.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours to include, Nights, Mornings, and Weekends.

Southeastern’s Graduate Assistantship includes full tuition waiver and a monthly stipend.
