Job Description

Western Carolina University is seeking two Graduate Assistant Coaches for Men’s & Women’s Cross Country/Track and Field to begin fall 2025. Ideally looking for two positions, selected individuals will be responsible for providing athletic coaching, supervision, recruiting, academic monitoring, and other duties as related and assigned by the head coach.

Western Carolina University will be considering candidates from all disciplines for this position. Preference will be given towards a distance candidate and sprints/hurdles/jumps candidate. Candidates must be willing to assist and travel with Cross Country as needed.

Applicants must possess previous collegiate experience, a bachelor’s degree and 3.0 GPA to be admissible to desired graduate program if offered the position.
