Job Description

Position Summary:

Henderson State University is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic individual for the position of Head Men’s and Women’s Track Coach. The successful candidate will need to recruit 55 student-athletes total for competition beginning fall 2025.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coaching sprinters and mid-distance events
• Coaching and advising athletes
• Recruiting
• Implementing a budget and fundraising

This position may also teach activity courses in Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to work well with student athletes and administrators.

General Days/Hours:

Regular and reliable attendance.
Occasional special events after hours or on the weekend.
