| Athletic Achievements/Important Information | Durelle Schimek is one of Cal Poly Pomona’s most accomplished athletes, earning five NCAA Division II All-American honors and three individual national championships in javelin and the heptathlon. A versatile multi-event athlete, she also ranks among CPP’s all-time leaders in the high jump. After returning to competition as a Masters athlete, Schimek became a national and international champion in the javelin and set American records in two age divisions. |
