Our current system has us declare our non-racers for regionals the day before the meet, and 2 days before for nationals. We want to look at possibly letting teams declare non-racers as late as 20 minutes before the race starts.
Our current system allows 10 entries for regionals. Those 10 athletes are the only ones available to enter for the national championship. We want to look at making the entire roster available for nationals, as long as a minimum of 4 athletes that raced at regionals are declared for nationals.
Move the USTFCCCA D2 Regional Ranking for the Preseason and Week 1 to be in line with other NCAA D2 sports where we don’t rank teams within the region, but simply list the ten teams in the region that are under consideration. The policy to change is the USTFCCCA D2 CC Handbook section on rankings.
