Allow Limited Competitions while Maintaining Redshirt – Cross Country
Amend Bylaw 12.8 to allow an individual two competitions in Cross Country while maintaining a redshirt, as follows:
12.8.3.1.7 Exception—Men’s and Women’s Cross Country. In men’s and women’s cross country, a student-athlete may compete in up to two contests in a season without using a season of competition; however, a student-athlete may not compete in any conference championship or NCAA championship (including regional qualifying meets) without using a season of competition.
