Cross Country Championships Qualifying and Field Expansion Proposal

Expand the team and individual field size of the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Cross Country National Championships and require qualification into all rounds of the Championships, as described in the attached proposal.

Competition Schedule
The First Round of the National Championships would be conducted on the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving current Friday date of the Regional meets. The Final Round of the National Championships would be conducted two weeks ten days later, on the first Saturday in December on the Monday prior to Thanksgiving.
