Formal NCAA XC Regional Site Inspection Process

Formal NCAA XC Regional Site Inspection Process

We propose the NCAA Site Rep and USTFCCCA Regional Reps make a site visit to assess the course and work with the host institution to address any serious concerns related to NCAA Rules and course safety. This visit should occur at a minimum 6 months prior to the scheduled NCAA Regional but can occur as far as 12 months in advance. This gives adequate time for any issues to be addressed and for the host institution to create an action plan to do so. In the event a selected site is not a suitable host for the NCAA Regional, this also gives adequate time for a new site to be selected.

NOTE: If a host site has been previously inspected and no major changes to the venue have occurred within the last 3 years, this process can be bypassed.
