New Throwing event- Football toss

With all the uncertainty surrounding the NCAA and how it will affect track and field, I propose creating a new throwing event that will attach our sport to the most popular and visible sport in the NCAA, football.

The event would be a football throw (utilizing a regulation NCAA football) from a hammer circle or javelin runway (can be discussed). A regulation hammer or javelin sector would be utilized along with the same sector and toe foul rules.
