Rule 14, Section 3, Article 1…

Part a) 4) Pacing in races by persons not participating in the same race, by lapped competitors or those about to be lapped, by competitors of the opposite gender in the same race, or pacesetting by any kind of technical device that benefits the field (e.g., pacing lights are not allowed).

Eliminate “by competitors of the opposite gender in the same race”

Part b)
Add 8. Pacing by persons not in the same race, including coaches, shall be defined as running directly next to or in front of a competitor for longer than 30m in an obvious attempt to provide a pacing effort. Additionally, it should be further clarified that unless otherwise prohibited at a particular competition or venue, crossing an infield shall similarly not be considered pacing.
