Academic Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must be accepted into the Mount Marty University Masters of Education Coaching Leadership Program. In order to be considered for the Master’s Program, you must have a 2.75 GPA, three letters of reference from a supervisor, coach, professor/colleague, and a 1-2-page essay explaining your purpose, goals, and commitment to this coaching program. Compensation
Candidate will receive a 2/3 tuition waiver from Mount Marty’s Master of Education in Coaching Leadership Program and $2,500 academic stipend. Additional income opportunities will be available during the off-season.

- Essential Duties
Assist with the development and implementation of training plans for designated event group(s) during indoor and outdoor track & field seasons. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has high jump, long jump, and triple jump experience and/or experience with the sprints/hurdles. We may also have an opening in the throws. - Coach student-athletes as assigned during practices and meets. Provide oversight and evaluation of student-athletes’ daily progress.
- Recruit prospective student athletes in compliance with University-developed goals and within NAIA guidelines. Recruitment may include making initial contact with prospective students and families, assisting with campus visits, and maintaining regular contact with recruits.
- May participate in event scheduling, budget management, procurement of equipment, all aspects of meet management for collegiate and high school events, and fundraising.
- The employee will be assigned by the immediate supervisor to perform other duties as needed or to perform other reasonably-related duties.
