The Head Coach for Men’s & Women’s Track & Field will provide leadership for the track & field program, under the direction of the Director of Cross Country/Track & Field (XC/TF) and Athletic Director. This position will be responsible for the recruitment, training, and development of student-athletes in the sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, and multis. This position will work with the Director of XC/TF in all aspects of the track & field program, including spiritual development, leadership development, recruiting, training, scheduling, budgeting, fundraising, and community service. This position will also provide leadership in the organization and maintenance of the Montreat College track & field facility, including serving as meet director for competitions and being the primary liaison for all track & field events held at the facility. This position will maintain an active knowledge of all AAC and NAIA policies and procedures.

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Priority will be given to candidates with prior collegiate coaching experience and a desire to actively lead in a faith-based environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The Head Coach for Men’s & Women’s Track & Field is a full-time (10 month) position that is eligible for benefits through Montreat College. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
