Job Description

Qualifications

• Knowledge of speed and power events (jumps, throws and/or sprints). Decathlon or heptathlon experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
• Effective communication, teaching and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring workouts and providing technical instruction as assigned
• Able to assist with coaching during competitions
• Assist with on-campus recruiting visits
• Must comply with all NCAA, Big Ten Conference and University of Michigan rules and regulations
• Contribute to positive team culture
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Track & Field or other Assistant Track & Field Coaches
