Job Description

• Assist the distance coach with teaching the technical aspects of the sport of track & field/cross country
• Assist the distance coach with the recruitment of prospective track & field/cross country student-athletes
• Support the distance coach with administrative responsibilities
• Assist the distance coach with daily practices, including periodically driving university vehicles to off-campus practice sites
• Know, recognize and comply with the laws, policies, rules and regulations governing UWM and its employees, and the rules of the NCAA and the Horizon League

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior experience running cross country/distance in high school and/or college

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience coaching cross country/distance in high school and/or college

Salary/Pay Basis: Volunteer position
