Kent State University is seeking applicants for the position of Volunteer Cross Country/Track & Field Coach. This role is responsible for assisting with the administration and development of all areas of the Cross Country/Track & Field program under the supervision of the Director of Cross County/Track & Field, and Head Cross Country Coach.
Working primarily with the men and women cross country/distance athletes, candidates are expected to follow the rules and policies set forth by the NCAA, Mid-American Conference, and Kent State University.
Duties expected of this position are assist with the preparation and facilitation of daily practices, assist with on campus recruiting, travel to competitions, assist in hosting home track meets (collegiate/HS/open), and work summer camp.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, background in the sport as an athlete or coach, passion for teaching and development of young adults.
