Job Description

The University of South Dakota is seeking a Graduate Assistant or part-time coach for Men’s and Women’s Track & Field for the 2026-27 academic year. The position will begin in August 2026.

The position is responsible for assisting the Director of Track & Field with sprints, hurdles and jumps. The position is an NCAA countable coach and will assist with recruiting, workouts, skill instruction, hosting meets and other coaching duties.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience with track & field coaching or competing in sprints, hurdles or jumps is preferred. Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and a willingness to work within a team environment are expected.
