Job Description

Responsible for assisting the Head Coach in the development and management of the university’s track & field program, with primary coaching responsibilities in sprints, hurdles, and/or jumps. Duties include designing event-specific training programs, recruiting and developing student-athletes, conducting practices, preparing athletes for competition, and monitoring academic and athletic progress.

The position includes 3–4 hours of office and administrative work Monday through Friday, supporting recruiting, scheduling, meet preparation, team communication, compliance, and other program responsibilities. The Associate Head Coach is also expected to attend and actively coach at in-season competitions throughout both the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons, including travel to designated meets.

The Associate Head Coach helps foster a positive, competitive, and student-centered team culture while supporting the overall goals and success of the Marymount University track & field program.
