Job Description

Coaching duties include assisting the full-time coaching staff in all areas of program operations including practices, competitions, recruiting, academic monitoring and other additional aspects in operation of the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country / Track & Field programs assigned by the full-time coaching staff. Additional compensation is possible if needed outside of the fall and spring semesters. Preference will be given to those with previous coaching or competition experience in the sport of track & field at the collegiate level. This position will directly work with XC/Distance but will have various duties in other areas as assigned by the coaching staff. Candidate must be open to obtaining or already have a US drivers license for limited van driving.

ULM is a member of the NCAA, Division 1 competing in the Sun Belt Conference. The candidate must have a commitment to adhering to all rules and regulations of ULM, the Sun Belt Conference, and the NCAA. Graduate assistantship covers up to 18 credit hours per year in tuition wavier besides the salary posted with possible summer/winter course additions and coverage of up to $1,000 per semester for university fees. Must have a bachelor’s degree and be accepted into a graduate program at The University of Louisiana Monroe.
