Job Description

Truman State is now accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Coach for Track and Field. This position will report directly to the head coach. The applicate should have a background in multi events/jumps/sprints. To be considered for this position, the applicant must be accepted into a Truman State University Graduate Program. Note: Not all graduate programs are compatible with the GA position. A list of approved programs can be emailed upon request.

Job Duties:

  • Work with Truman State coaching staff in all aspects of the track & field and cross country programs
  • Assist with coaching, designing, and implementing training plans for multis/jumps/sprints
  • Assist Head Cross Country Coach with practice, travel, and race day duties
  • Assist coaching staff with all recruiting and administrative responsibilities
  • Assist in hosting home events
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Head Track & Field Coach
