**IN PERSON COURSE**
A high level certification granting course that covers the coaching and preparation of middle distance runners at all levels. Topics include athlete management, training design and administration, competition management, technical issues and instruction, and sports sciences related to the Middle Distances.

Prerequisites:
The minimal requirements for taking the Advanced Endorsement course are 305: Endurance Event Specialist Certification, 403: Testing and Measurement, 405: Sports Psychology, 406: Injury Management, 409: Sports Science for Endurance Events, and your choice of either 310: Strength & Conditioning Coach Certification or 407: Weight Training
OR
10 years of formal coaching experience and course 305: Endurance Event Specialist Certification
Deadline: Course registration closes at 11:55pm (Central) on Saturday, November 30th. On-site registration WILL NOT be available.
Upon successful completion of the course, any existing certifications you may hold will be renewed by the number of years specified in Academy Policy.
As the 500 level courses are part of the Masters Certification curriculum, they therefore do not grant stand alone certification.
